For Kids' Sake Seminars
For Kids' Sake (also known as FKS) seminars provide parent education to assist in easing the pain and trauma families often feel during divorce. This 4-hour class meets the court-ordered requirements for divorcing parents. Even the most loving and caring parents find it difficult to focus on their children's needs during such a traumatic time. They seldom have the necessary skills to help their children with the resulting change and loss.
For Kids' Sake puts parents in touch with their children's needs and provides them with the knowledge and skills to safely nurture their children through this process.
This program is facilitated by a team of professional men and women with education and experience in parenting issues and concerns. The seminar is intended to be a helpful resource for parents going through divorce or for those of you who may be struggling with visitation or custody issues.
- Weekday Seminars are offered from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday Seminars are offered from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
- Participants must attend all 4 hours to receive credit.
- Seminars are held at MHMR Services Building at 1501 W. Beauregard, San Angelo.
- Cost of the class is $45, and is payable in cash or money order. No credit cards or personal checks are accepted.
