Alejandra received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2013 and her Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University–San Antonio in 2016. She began her counseling career serving the unhoused community of San Antonio at The Haven for Hope through The Center for Health Care Services before returning to her hometown of Del Rio in 2019.

Alejandra is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™). She has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Play Therapy, and suicide risk assessment.

Alejandra values the therapeutic relationship and strives to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients can work toward greater understanding and meaningful change. She is committed to expanding access to mental health services and promoting mental health awareness in the Del Rio community.
